Data Retention

We will retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you our services. We will also retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

  • You are not a client with Shoreline but opt-in and consent for the sharing of any personal information through our website or other method.

For services you purchase from Shoreline – Because the need to effectively communicate with our clients (you) during any part of the Shoreline service process is absolutely essential, your personal information may be shared with Shoreline employees. They will protect your personal information in accordance with the Shoreline’s Privacy Policy.

Your personal information may also be shared with third parties affiliated with Shoreline to help provide Shoreline’s services to you. We require that these individuals and companies affiliated with Shoreline safeguard your personal information in accordance with Shoreline’s Privacy Policy. Those policies include (i) Shoreline’s physical, electronic and procedural controls that comply with or exceed industry standards, (ii) requirements that Shoreline’s affiliates only use your personal information when they need to provide services to you or work on Shoreline matters, and (iii) requirements that companies performing work for Shoreline execute confidentiality agreements to further protect your personal information.

For regulatory reasons – Shoreline may also share your personal information with third parties (i) to protect against fraud, (ii) to respond to a subpoena, (iii) to respond to requests by law enforcement, or (iv) to comply with a court order, agency order, ongoing judicial proceeding, or other legal process. Shoreline does not share, sell, rent, or trade your information with third parties for their promotional purposes.

Shoreline reserve the right to disclose your personally identifiable information as required by law and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on our Web site.

If Shoreline is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, you will be notified via email and/or a prominent notice on our Web site of any change in ownership or uses of your personal information, as well as any choices you may have regarding your personal information.

How to OPT OUT of Service Communications

As a client receiving Shoreline services, you must be willing to receive communications from Shoreline from email, text and phone communications. These communications are necessary to deliver our service to you and may include account updates, appointment reminders etc. Shoreline does not use your personal information for any purpose other than to assist you in providing information and the services you have requested. If you choose to “opt out” of receiving any communications from Shoreline, then Shoreline will not be able to deliver our service to you and your account must be closed. If you do not want to receive communications from Shoreline you may “opt out” by closing our account as outlined in your Service Agreement with Shoreline.

California Privacy Rights: California residents who provide personal information in obtaining products or services for personal, family or household use are entitled to either: (1) a list detailing the categories of information shared and the entities to which such information was provided; or (2) be notified of a mechanism by which a consumer may opt-out of having their information shared with third parties. We have elected to comply with the second option. (See “How to OPT OUT of Service Communications” above.)

If you wish to opt out from having your nonpublic personally identifiable information shared with any unaffiliated third parties by sending an e-mail to [email protected] and notifying us that you wish to opt-out from such sharing.

California “Do Not Track” Law: This website does not honor any “Do Not Track” signals that are provided by user’s browsers.
